Would You Get Plastic Surgery to Improve Your Career?
Here’s an interesting question:
Would you ever get plastic surgery in order to grow/improve/benefit your career?
Think it’s a strange question? Not really. Consider the following:
- Looks like many people are making a few physical changes with plastic surgery to improve their job prospects. The article notes that “much of [the increase in] business is coming from men over the age of 55 who are concerned about keeping their jobs.”
- Let’s face it, physical attributes matter when it comes to career success. I’m not saying I like it. I’m not saying it’s fair. I’m just saying it’s a fact of life.
- While plastic surgery can be expensive, the cost is dwarfed by the amount you can gain if your career takes off. One bonus and the surgery is paid for! Remember that your career is your most valuable financial asset and is worth millions of dollars. So the cost of plastic surgery could be seen as more of an investment than an expense.
So, the question remains: would you ever get plastic surgery in order to grow/improve/benefit your career?
